There is no denying that destination trailers are having a moment. This once obscure segment of the RV market has garnered a lot of attention recently, thanks to some unique designs and creative floorplans. And because this style of camper is designed to stay in one place for extended periods, they often resemble a cabin or cottage rather than a traditional towable.

Case in point: the No Boundaries RVS1 from Forest River. The video above takes us on a tour of this well-appointed model that blends the best qualities of an adventure camper and a destination trailer. As you’ll see, the RVS1 is filled with unexpected luxuries that make it an excellent base camp for any RV lifestyle.

Our video tour starts in the bathroom, which stands out for a number of reasons. First and foremost, it is open and spacious and has plenty of storage, including a large linen closet. It also has dual vessel sinks, high-rise faucets, a porcelain toilet, and a residential-style shower with a waterfall showerhead. Decorative lighting fixtures add a touch of class, while large windows provide natural light from the outdoors, and blackout shades offer privacy when needed. There’s even a built-in space heater to quickly warm up the room in the morning and a washer/dryer combo hidden behind a mirrored door.

The living area is equally impressive, with an expandable couch, TV, entertainment center, and an electric fireplace. It shares space with the kitchen, which is outfitted with a two-burner induction stove, a convection microwave oven, and a large sink with a residential faucet. Even the refrigerator is fun, combining retro looks with 12 cubic feet of storage and a freezer drawer. Once again, abundant storage is found throughout, and a solid-surface countertop adds an additional touch of class.

In another clever bit of design, the primary bedroom pulls double duty as the dining area. The queen-size mattress is actually a Murphy bed that folds into the wall when not in use, creating an open space to extend a built-in table. This is perfect for enjoying meals, playing games, or as a workstation for digital nomads. Charging ports, plenty of wardrobe storage, and expansive windows add to the room’s comfort and functionality.

As if all of that wasn’t enough, the RVS1 has many other unique features that help it stand out from the crowd. For instance, it has a back patio accessible via sliding glass doors off the primary bedroom with an awning that provides shelter from the sun and rain and has built-in LED lights for nighttime lounge sessions. Other nice touches include a power tongue jack, a built-in storage locker, a power side awning with LED lights, and integrated stabilizing jacks.

Perhaps best of all, the RVS1 is completely propane-free. It is a fully electric model with a large house battery bank to keep all appliances, space heaters, and two air conditioners running while boondocking. The rig’s holding tanks include a 90-gallon freshwater reservoir, a 60-gallon gray tank, and a 30-gallon black water tank. This allows the destination trailer to comfortably stay off-grid for an extended period. A 500W solar upgrade is optional.

The No Boundaries RVS1 is an excellent example of some of the fun options that a destination trailer provides. There is a lot more to see in the video, so hit play and check everything out. Then, head over to the Forest River website to learn more.
