You won’t believe how big, comfortable, and feature-packed a trailer like this can be

Thanks to their large interiors and plentiful amenities, it is easy to understand why destination trailers have become so popular in recent years. Because these models tend to be taller and wider than traditional travel trailers and fifth-wheels, they offer much more living space and creature comforts, too. But their size also makes them more challenging to tow, which is why many owners tend to park them in the same place for extended periods. And while they may not be as mobile as other RVs, they offer a camping experience unlike any other.

One of the more popular destination trailers currently on the market is the Forest River Timberwolf. This model is available in eight unique floorplans, including the 16ML mini-loft version. This well-equipped model includes everything you could ask for in a tiny home on wheels, including a large bathroom, spacious kitchen, and an upstairs sleeping area with a queen-size bed. It even comes with a rear deck for lounging in the great outdoors.

The video above takes us on an eight-minute tour of the Timberwolf 16ML. It gives you an excellent sense of how open and airy the interior is, in no small part due to its high ceilings. Wandering around inside, it is hard to believe that the trailer is just 27’ 9” in length, as it looks and feels much larger. But that’s the whole point of a destination trailer, after all, providing a comfortable living space that goes beyond what you’ll find in a traditional travel trailer.

The two lofted sleeping areas are especially noteworthy, but the kitchen is also a standout feature of the Timberwolf 16ML. It includes a massive single-basin carbon apron sink with a high-rise faucet. It also comes with a three-burner stove, an oven, a microwave, and a residential-size refrigerator. And as if that wasn’t enough, you’ll also find a built-in ice maker, dishwasher, and a washer/dryer combo machine. In other words, everything you need for relaxing weekends or extended stays.

The bathroom is no less impressive. Tucked away at the rear of the vehicle—behind a set of pocket doors—you’ll find a glass-framed shower with bench seating and a handheld showerhead. Storage abounds with plenty of wood cabinets, a linen closet, and a luxurious vanity.

All of this is just the tip of the iceberg for what the Timberwolf brings to the table. Check out the full video to see everything else it has to offer. Forest River has knocked it out of the park with this model, making it easy to understand why destination trailers are suddenly a very hot segment of the RV market.
