SylvanSport is best known for its lightweight Go camper, which has built an avid following over the years thanks to its lightweight design, amazing versatility, and inexpensive price tag. But a few years back, the company expanded its catalog with the introduction of the Vast, a more traditional towable that includes a slew of fun and thoughtful features. Now, the brand is expanding its offerings once again, this time in the form of the all-new Vire travel trailer, which slots in between the Go and the Vast, while carving out an identity all its own.

The Vire measures 19′ 5.5″ in length and had a dry weight of 3,670 lbs, making it relatively small and lightweight. But don’t let those dimensions fool you; SylvanSport managed to cram a lot of features and functionality into that relatively small footprint. One of the key examples of this is the front space, which is occupied by a huge U-shaped lounge area that is open, spacious, and very comfy looking. Add a table and a table to the mix, and the lounge suddenly becomes a dinette, where RVers can enjoy meals, play games, or get work done at the campsite. In the evening, it converts to a residential king-size bed in seconds, offering plenty of room to relax and sleep. And to make things even better, there is a large window that allows plenty of natural light into the rig. Privacy shades close off the interior when needed, but that same window can also be opened, creating an instant connection with the outdoors. A pull-up screen helps keep insects at bay.
At the rear of the travel trailer, you’ll find a small, but very functional galley kitchen. It comes equipped with a two-burner stove, an optional convection microwave that doubles as an air fryer, and a surprisingly deep sink with a fold-down faucet. Cabinets and drawers abound, and a side-out pantry adds additional storage. A 12V mini-fridge keeps food fresh and beverages cold, while a rear window offers much of the same functionality as that massive one in the living room. Nearby, the wet bath includes a shower tall enough to accommodate nearly anyone, along with a sink and a cassette toilet.

SylvanSport’s trademark thoughtful design is found throughout the cabin, but is especially easy to see under the rear hatch. There, you’ll find a compartment designed to make an RVer’s life as easy as possible, with a number of key features that demonstrate just how much care went into the construction of this rig. For example, you’ll find all of the Vire’s plumbing and utility connections here, keeping everything well organized, easy to access, and conveniently located. That makes hooking up at the campground and routine maintenance a breeze and will leave you wondering why more manufacturers don’t opt for a similar design.
Built for four-season camping, the Vire comes with heated holding tanks, a heated bathroom floor, integrated insulation, and exceptional thermal management. The rig is made from high-performance laminated composite panels permanently bonded to one another, too, which adds enhanced structural integrity and durability. This should eliminate the possibility of water leaks and create a quieter cabin, while also requiring far fewer repairs and less maintenance. It also gives the travel trailer more longevity than most other towables on the road, especially at its price point.

Speaking of which, the SylvanSport Vire has a starting price of $59,995, which includes a single 2k 166Ah lithium battery and comes solar-ready. Stepping up to the Vire Ultimate nets you dual 5k batteries that deliver 833Ah of power storage. That model also comes with 600W of solar and a television. Both versions are Starlink-ready, making it easy to get an internet connection with a simple plug-and-play option.
The Vire is available for preorder now with production starting soon and first deliveries taking place in October. A $1,000 deposit is required when placing your reservation. To learn more about this exciting new travel trailer, check out the video above and visit the SylvanSport website.
