The summer months are busy ones for the RV industry, which in addition to revealing all-new models is also showing off significant updates to existing rigs. The latest of those comes our way in the form of the 2027 edition of the inTech Sol Dawn, a travel trailer that already offered great features and excellent value. But for the new model year, this camper gets some great new upgrades that are sure to please buyers in the market for a lightweight, durable, and well-equipped RV.

“This redesign was driven by listening,” says inTech president Adam Maxwell in a press release. “We listened to owners at retail shows, rallies, and through online communities, and those conversations directly shaped this lineup. From expanded off-grid capability and redesigned outdoor kitchens to upgraded materials and smarter living solutions, every update was made with intention. We’re excited to bring those ideas to life in the new 2027 Sol lineup.”
Based on the comment above, it’s clear that inTech took customer feedback seriously when refining the Sol Dawn for 2027. As noted, the latest version of the travel trailer comes with a redesigned exterior kitchen, which includes new features like a counter extension that folds out to reveal a sink, a drawer-style fridge keeps food and drinks fresh and cool, while ambient LED lighting creates a pleasant workspace even in low light conditions. A griddle cooktop makes meal prep a breeze, with room to grill some burgers, fry some bacon, and scramble some eggs.

Other new features include premium wooden cabinets for better interior storage and expanded holding tank capacities, including the addition of a 36.5-gallon gray water receptacle. The freshwater tank is bumped up to 45 gallons on the 2027 Sol Dawn, while the black water tank offers a 14-gallon capacity. The rig now includes Starlink prep as part of the standard configuration, while a 200W solar package is an optional upgrade. An off-grid package includes 300W of solar, a 30A MPPT charge controller, and 460Ah lithium battery paired with a 3,000W inverter. The front dinette gets more flexible, too, offering more room in its standard configuration, while also converting to a king-size bed for added sleep space.
All of this is in addition to everything that has always made the inTech Sol Dawn a special camper. That starts with the all-aluminum cage frame, which provides exceptional durability and strength while keeping weight to a minimum. Indeed, the travel trailer has a GVWR of just 4,800 lbs, making it towable by a wide range of vehicles. The rig is also made from rust- and weather-resistant materials, ensuring owners get years of worry-free use. A wet bath and fully equipped kitchen, complete with a three-burner stove, farmhouse sink, microwave, a 12V fridge, and solid surface countertops add further functionality and convenience.
