The Most Luxurious RVs for 2022

These RVs Will Give You the Ultimate Glamping Experience

The numbers don’t lie–RVing has increased dramatically in popularity over the past few years. As a result, the market has expanded to include a broader range of vehicles catering to a variety of travelers entering the lifestyle.

We’ve seen an increasing number of entry-level models built specifically for those who want to go camping without spending tens of thousands of dollars to start. Conversely, the top-end of the RV market continues to evolve, too, offering vehicles that are the epitome of luxury and glamor.

Luxury RVs are spacious, comfortable, and built from premium materials inside and out. They include features and amenities more commonly found in homes rather than a camper, like heated floors, full-size appliances, and auto-configuring satellite dishes. In some ways, they have more in common with a yacht rather than other RVs and have price tags to match.

While most of us will never be able to afford one of these pricey RVs ourselves, it is still fun to see what they bring to the table. These are the most luxurious RVs for 2022.

Marchi Mobile eleMMent Palazzo Superior

The crown for the most luxurious RV on the market today has to go to the Marchi Mobile eleMMent Palazzo Superior. This built-to-order 45-foot motorhome includes some unique features not found on any other vehicle—including a two-story design and multiple climate zones. Its cockpit looks like something you would find on a jet aircraft, with plenty of displays and instrument clusters. Most notable is its fishbowl-inspired frontend—with auto-tinting glass—that draws attention on the road and at the campsite.

With its multiple slide-outs and open floorplan, the Palazzo Superior offers over 730 square feet of living space. As you would expect, it comes with all of the typical amenities, including several flatscreen TVs, a well-equipped kitchen, and a bedroom that includes a luxurious king-size mattress. But it has more than a few features to set it apart from the crowd, including a built-in wine cabinet, a spa-like bathroom with a rainfall shower, and a massive couch over four meters in length.

But the Palazzo Superior’s signature feature is its rooftop lounge. This lofted deck has a pop-up sun shield, leather couch, and a heated floor. A high-end sound system from Steinway & Lyngdorf pumps music to the setting, which includes LED lighting for nighttime dance parties. A set of stairs located inside the vehicle provides access.

The motorhome has a 600-hp Volvo engine and an overpowered HVAC system to keep it comfortable at any temperature. It also comes with 200-gallon fresh water and gray water tanks, as well as a 65-gallon black water tank. An automated sun canopy, with lights and an audio system, deploys from one side of the vehicle, while exterior basement storage accommodates plenty of luggage and supplies.

Because this RV is built to meet the exact specs of its owner, Marchi Mobile is tight-lipped on pricing. The cost of the Palazzo Superior is estimated to start at around $3 million.

If you’re looking to elevate your glamping experience, any of these RVs can help you achieve that goal. Provided you don’t mind paying a little extra for the comfort and amenities they offer.
