AutoCamp is bringing its blend of luxury camping and outdoor immersion to the High Desert of California. The company’s new Joshua Tree location will open soon, with new features and amenities not found at its previous glamping sites.

The new 25-acre resort sits just outside Joshua Tree—the town, not the national park.

Visitors to AutoCamp’s newest location can choose to book a stay in either a classic Airstream travel trailer or a “Vista X Suite.” The latter offers more space and includes a private bedroom with a queen-size bed. The suite also features a spa-inspired bathroom, a living area, and a surprisingly well-equipped kitchen complete with a stove, microwave, dishes, and utensils.

Alternatively, AutoCamp’s Airstreams provide a taste of RV life without the need to tow a camper. The iconic silver travel trailers have room to sleep three adults or a family of four. The interior is decked out with modern furnishings and includes a queen-size bed, a private bathroom with a shower, and an interior sitting area. Airstream trailers and Vista X Suites come with an outdoor dining area and a fire pit.

While AutoCamp has built a reputation for providing a unique glamping experience, the Joshua Tree location brings a few extras to help set it apart from its sister locations. The most prominent of those is the Quonset Hut-inspired Clubhouse, which serves as the property’s social hub. Guests can hang out in the Clubhouse 24/7, grab a drink at the outside bar, and gather around the indoor fire pit or under a shaded awning.

Other amenities include hanging sofas, heated concrete furniture, and a plunge pool outside the Clubhouse. The pool is perfect for a quick dip to escape the heat of summer, but it converts to a hot tub for winter use too. Visitors can also borrow bikes to ride around town and can participate in onsite activities such as yoga classes, wine tastings, and making s’mores around a campfire.

Located just 10 minutes from its namesake national park, AutoCamp Joshua Tree will make the perfect base camp for exploring the area. The site should officially open before the end of the year. Keep an eye on the AutoCamp website for updates and availability.
