What is a Teardrop Trailer?
Teardrop trailers typically derive their name from their distinctive shape, which resembles a teardrop. We like the Bean Stock 2.0 because it delivers a lot of value in a lightweight, easy-to-tow package. The trailer is extremely well built and comes with everything owners need to start camping, without a lot of frivolous add-ons that only increase weight and price. As a minimalist starter package, it is tough to top this teardrop. Pricing starts at $15,999.

Hiker Trailer Mid Range XL
Indiana-based Hiker Trailer has been building custom teardrops for more than a decade, with more than 4,000 units on the road. That’s a testament to the build quality and precision craftsmanship that goes into each model. Thanks to a single-piece composite fiberglass body, the TOPO2 Voyager weighs just 1,920 lbs. yet retains durability and stiffness that give it solid performance across a variety of terrains. A proprietary suspension offers plenty of ground clearance and maintains control both on-road and off, while all-terrain tires and wheels allow the trailer to go anywhere you want to take it.

Its off-road capabilities aren’t as impressive as some other models on this list, but this unit more than makes up for it with its excellent styling and unexpected amenities. Polydrops P19 Shorty
Polydrops markets its P19 Shorty teardrop-style camper as an option for EV owners looking to maximize their range. The reality is that the 640 lbs. trailer is so light that it can easily be towed behind a small SUV or even a family sedan.
