East to West RV Introduces New Travel Trailer Made for Full-Timers
The 35-Foot ALTA Xtreme 365 has All of the Amenities You Need for Life on the Road
Forest River subsidiary East to West RV had introduced a new model specifically built for full-time RVers. The ALTA Xtreme 365 series will include multiple floorplans, the first of which offers an expansive living space with high ceilings, ample storage, and residential-style appliances. The 35-foot travel trailer is also made to serve as a permanent home, offering a climate-controlled interior and design elements for year-round camping.
The ALTA Xtreme 365 3100KXT is 101 inches wide and 96 inches tall and comes with a 53-gallon freshwater reservoir and 30- and 60-gallon black and gray water tanks, respectively. The trailer comes with washer/dryer prep preinstalled and has an additional 30-gallon gray water tank dedicated to those hookups. Additionally, each holding tank is heated to avoid freezing solid in cold weather conditions.
The interior temperature of the 3100KXT is maintained by a 40,000 BTU furnace and two independent 15,000 BTU air conditioning units. An electric fireplace adds another 5,000 BTUs of heat when needed, not to mention a much-appreciated ambiance on cold winter nights. Dual-pane windows, triple-insulated floors, and a heated underbelly add additional protection from the elements.
East to West outfitted the 3100KXT’s primary bedroom with a king-size bed, while two bunk beds are found at the rear of the vehicle. The kitchen has a free-standing oven, a large microwave, and a residential refrigerator with a 16.2 cubic-foot capacity, and a pullout double-door freezer. The bathroom has a linen closet, sink, toilet, and large shower with a skylight.
An on-demand water heater, 4G LTE/Wi-Fi prepped booster antenna, and a 40-inch smart TV are standard, as is an integrated sound bar and an external speaker system. The trailer has a 200-watt solar panel array installed on the roof that feeds power to an onboard electrical system. One of the RV’s two slide-outs contains an oversized couch, while the other houses a free-standing dinette and pantry with extra storage underneath.
While full-time RV living has grown in popularity in recent years, few motorhomes or travel trailers are dedicated to the lifestyle. East to West hopes to change that with its new ALTA Xtreme 365 line. More floorplans are expected soon, so visit the company’s website for future updates.
“This could be the beginning of a total new segment in the RV industry,” said ALTA general manager Todd Grubb in a press release.
