Camping World to Open Its First Location in Maine
Part of the Outdoor Retailer’s Goal to Operate a Dealer Platform in all 48 Contiguous States
Camping World Holdings Inc. announced this week that it has signed an agreement to acquire Lee’s Family Trailer in Windham, ME. The acquisition is expected to close April of this year.
The location will be Camping World’s first location in Maine. This will bring the company will be one step closer to its goal of operating a dealer platform in each of the 48 contiguous states.
Speaking of this goal, CEO and Chairman of Camping World Marcus Lemonis explains, “This achievement not only creates more convenience for our nearly 5.5 million unique customers but sets the stage for a web-centric process to sell both new and used RVs nationwide completely online.”
Currently, Camping World has either an operating RV dealership, an agreement to acquire an existing RV dealership, a dealership under construction, or a land acquisition pending in all 48 states.
The new dealership will include a wide range of new and used RVs from top manufacturers in addition to a full assortment of RV and outdoor products and accessories.
