Grand Design’s relentless march into the motorized RV space continues this summer with the introduction of yet another intriguing model. Last week, the company took the wraps off an all-new Class C coach, bringing fresh new features and expanded functionality to the market. Dubbed the Grand Design Lineage Series E, this beautiful motorhome further demonstrates how far the brand has come in the motorized market, to the point that it is now one of the most innovative and exciting manufacturers working today.

Currently available in the single 30DC floor plan, the Lineage Series E rides on a Ford E-450 platform with a 7.3L V-8 engine, giving it 325HP and 450 lb-ft of torque. The rig also comes with a Fox Factory suspension that offers a smooth ride both on tarmac and when wandering off-road, and the chassis features tubular steel truss construction, along with heavy-gauge aluminum framing along the sidewalls. Azdel OnBoard composite panels paired with a Talon high-gloss fiberglass finish, giving the coach long-term durability and reliability. The motorhome even has a 7,500 lb towing capacity, allowing owners the ability to bring a dinghy vehicle, boat, ATV, or other toys along for the adventure.
One of the Lineage Series E’s signature features is the large amount of cargo space it offers. Grand Design says it has the most external storage of any RV in its class, making it easy for owners to bring their favorite gear along for the ride. The rotocast storage bays are voluminous in size, have access on either side of the coach, and give the coach even more versatility and convenience.

Inside, the Lineage Series E offers a comfortable, bright, and modern living experience. The bedroom features a residential king bed, twin wardrobes, a smart TV, and two individual washer/dryer hookups. Midship, you’ll find a split bathroom with a private lavatory on one side and the shower on the other. The front of the coach is dominated by the kitchen and living room area, where you’ll discover a booth-style dinette, power theater seating, and another smart TV. Appliances include a two-burner induction stove, a convection microwave, a stainless steel sink, and a double-doored refrigerator.
All of this sounds great on paper, but it looks even better in person. The video above features Michael Hums, Grand Design’s Product Manager of the Motorized Division, giving viewers a full tour of this new Class C coach. He shows off all of these features, and much more, taking us around both the exterior and interior of the rig. What you’ll see is an RV that lives up to the company’s growing reputation for building outstanding motorhomes while retaining the Lineage Series’s distinctive design elements and outstanding build quality.

The Grand Design Lineage Series E is expected to begin shipping to dealers around mid- to late-July. Final pricing hasn’t been revealed yet, but considering the brand’s other motorized models, expect the MSRP to be competitive with similar models already on the market.
