Togo Group Brings Campendium to Its Brand Family
The tech platform adds Campendium to its brand porfolio
Togo Group welcomed Campendium into the fold, further expanding its family of brands, according to RV-Pro. Campendium will continue to operate independently for the time being. For those unfamiliar, Campendium offers 32,000 public and private camping locations across the continental United States, Canada, and Baja, Mexico to people searching for information on them online.
Campendium has become a huge force in the marketplace lately. Traffic for the app and website increased by 59 percent in the last year. It saw a more than 58 percent increase in net-new users, too.
Armed with that information, it’s clear why Togo Group would want to bring Campendium into the fold.
“It will significantly advance our mission to provide RVers and road trippers with end-to-end trip discovery and planning tools—including finding accommodations—that allow them to enjoy their journey,” said Togo Group CEO Danny Hest. “We look forward to applying our experience, scale, and tools to help Campendium further develop its product, enhance the user experience and grow the platform’s reach.”
Brian Easterling and Leigh Wetzel, co-founders of Campendium, will stay with the company as it’s added to Togo Group’s portfolio.
