Introducing the Covercraft Olefin HD RV Cover

Dubbed the Olefin HD, the cover expands Covercraft's Adco brand to provide the greatest selection in the industry.

Covercraft has introduced what it’s calling the next generation of RV covers, the Olefin HD, RV News reports.

“With the disappearance of some traditional RV cover fabrics during the pandemic, we saw the need to introduce something new,” said Erik Guldager, company vice president of sales and customer service. “We have worked with our fabric mills to develop and bring to market Olefin HD.”

The new fabric is part of Covercraft’s popular All Climate + Wind Designer Series and is an improved replacement for the previous All Climate option. It is designed for protection from sun, rain, snow, and wind. Olefin HD covers are particularly effective on RVs’ roofs, Covercraft said.

The slip-seam strap system conforms the cover to the shape of the RV trailer, minimizing wind impact to the cover. Each cover features zippered passenger entry doors to access the trailer without having to remove the entire cover.

“The sun’s UV rays are what kill the roof of an RV,” said Liz White, Covercraft national sales manager for the RV market. “Olefin HD effectively blocks over 99% of those damaging UV rays and protects the RV at the most critical area.”

Other features include:

  • 4 Free RV Gutter Spout Covers
  • Durable high-performance all climate Olefin HD top panel
  • Triple layer Polypropylene sides
  • Patented slip-seam strapping systems
  • Weighted buckle toss-under straps
  • Front & rear cinching system to remove slack & reduce billowing
  • Built-in air vents circulate air, preventing mold & mildew

The company said it saw excitement about the product as information rolled out to its dealer network.
