The latest addition to the Leisure Travel Vans catalog merges luxury and adventure into a single purpose-built rig designed to go off-road in style. The all-new Unity TBX—and its AWD TB4X stablemate—deliver the brand’s trademark plush interiors, complete with lounge chairs, induction cooktop, dry bath and room for up to four passengers. The van rides on the Mercedes Sprinter platform, which gets a four-inch factory lift, matte-black fender flares and a sleek paint job. A 540-amp-hour battery pack and optional high-output alternator unlock off-grid camping, while a spacious pass-through gear garage offers plenty of space for all of your goodies. Clean Your Solar Panels

Solar panels often collect dust while in winter storage, so before setting out in the spring, use water and a soft, nonabrasive sponge to wipe them clean. For peak performance, continue cleaning your rig’s panels throughout the camping season, as pollen, dust, dirt and other residue can collect on the surface, reducing efficiency in the process.

Travoca Rigel Dual-Zone Electric Cooler

Stylish and efficient, the 12V Travoca Rigel electric cooler offers dual-zone performance at temperatures as low as -4ºF. The mini-fridge is quick to cool, too, going from 79ºF to 32ºF in less than 20 minutes. It even has a cleverly designed lid that opens from both sides, making it ideal for use around the campsite or as a permanent fixture in a camper van build. Prices start at $650. travoca.com

What are Heated Holding Tanks?

An increasing number of RVs now ship with heated holding tanks, which use adhesive heating pads attached to freshwater, gray water and black tanks to prevent them from freezing up in cold conditions. While this alone doesn’t make a rig into a four-season model, it does come in handy when the temperature drops unexpectedly. Most of these pads require 12V power to function and automatically turn on when temps drop below 40º F.
