Thor Releases New Vegas 24.3 Motorhome

Thor Industries last week announced the release of a new floorplan model for its Vegas RUV. Distinguishing characteristics of the Vegas 24.3 model include a murphy bed and rear bath. Its closest comparison is to the 24.1 model which forgoes a rear bath for two twin-sized beds with king conversion and a wet bath.

The 24.3 model’s kitchen boasts a double-door refrigerator with Euro-style soft-close cabinets. The kitchen also provides a two-burner gas cooktop with a class cover and electric start. The kitchen also provides plenty of prep space courtesy of a sink and cooktop cover.
The 24.3, like its fellow Vegas models, has an overheard bunk sleeping area for additional sleep space. When parked, the cockpit functions as a workstation with swivel captain’s chairs and a coffee table. The 24.3 has a sleep capacity of four and five seat belts.
The 2.43 also sits on the same Ford E-Series chassis as the other Vegas models and runs on the same 7.3L V8 engine. The 2.43 has an exterior length of 25’6”, an exterior height of 11’, and an exterior width of 94”. It has a 40-gallon fresh water tank, a 30-gallon waste water tank, and a 40-gallon grey water tank. The model features a tankless water heater and a 30K-BTU furnace. The 2.43 has an exterior storage capacity of 22.9 cu. ft. and a hitch weight rating of 8000 lbs.
