The latest addition to Northwood’s iconic lineup may have a familiar-sounding name, but it is definitely a travel trailer with its own unique identity. The Arctic Fox Edge deftly blends form and function, integrating the brand’s legendary build quality with a contemporary design that is stylish and comfortable. Better still, the towable embraces the use of technology, making it easier than ever to camp off the grid for extended periods.

Riding on a rugged Northwood-built, Ironhorse Chassis, the AFox Edge is designed to go wherever the adventure takes you. Goodyear Wrangler Dura-Trac light truck tires, custom aluminum wheels, and a MORryde CE-3000 rubberized suspension ensure a smooth ride on a variety of surfaces. The trailer is even equipped with high-density foam insulation, a 30,000 BTU auto-ignition furnace, and a 13,500 BTU air conditioner for true four-season camping.

Inside, the AFox Edge continues to impress. The trailer ships with a fantastic suite of amenities, including theater seating, solid-surface countertops, and a spacious dinette booth with Versa Table that’s perfect for eating meals, socializing with friends and family, or serving as a mobile office space. The kitchen comes with a microwave with a built-in air fryer, a residential-style 12v refrigerator, a three-burner stove with oven, and a sizeable two-basin sink with a high-rise faucet.

The trailer’s bathroom has a glass-enclosed shower, a porcelain foot-pedal toilet, a stainless-steel sink, and an integrated linen closet. It sits adjacent to the primary bedroom, which features a plush queen-size bed and abundant storage, including a large slide-out closet. USB charging ports and 110V AC outlets are located on either side of the bed, making it easy to keep mobile devices charged at all times. The sleeping space is even accessible from the outside thanks to a secondary entryway separate from the main entrance found in the living area.

Boondocking is a cinch with the AFox Edge, thanks to a 1,000W solar package that comes standard. The system can be upgraded by adding a 3,000W inverter paired with a 400AH lithium battery. Customers have the option to increase the trailer’s energy storage capacity with a second 400AH battery if desired.

The travel trailer also includes Northwood’s FoxForward MultiPlexing System for monitoring and controlling onboard systems through a 7” touch screen or via Bluetooth from their smartphones. Owners can check battery and holding tank levels, turn on and off lights, activate the inverter, and more. It even keeps track of system activity over time, providing historical data for measuring efficiency.

Other notable features include a digital thermostat, skylights in the kitchen and shower, and energy-efficient frameless thermal pane windows. The trailer has a 100-gallon freshwater tank and 55-gallon gray and black water reservoirs. A 32” LED TV comes standard, with the option to add a second 24” model in the bedroom. An 18’ powered awning provides shade and shelter at the campground, with energy-sipping LED lighting built-in.
