RV News: The Biggest Stories From Hershey

- Hershey RV Show Taking Place Through the Weekend: As already noted above, the Hershey RV Show—billed as America’s Largest—is taking place in Hershey, PA this weekend. The event actually got underway on Wednesday and will continue through Sunday, with all of the major RV manufacturers on hand with their latest models and floor plans. Expect a steady supply of news from the event to be posted online even into next week. Having just returned from the show ourselves, we can say there was a lot to cover, with highlights to follow below.

- Pleasure-Way Reveals First Towable: One of our lead stories from last week’s RV news roundup was the announcement from Pleasure-Way of its first travel trailer, the Everbound. The new towable is in Hershey, and to say that it looks very promising would be an understatement. The interior resembles the brand’s upscale camper van experience, with a few unique touches that are all its own. Pricing starts at $90,870, with four similar, yet distinct, floor plans to choose from. Learn more here.

- AWD Model Comes to Pleasure-Way Line-Up: Staying with Pleasure-Way one more time, the company also announced that it is introducing an all-wheel-drive model to its catalog of camper vans. The AWD capabilities come via the Mercedes Sprinter chassis and will be available as an option on the brand’s Plateau-RB and Plateau XLTW models.

- Leisure Travel Vans Announces New Wonder FX Model: One of the best things we saw in Hershey was the all-new Wonder model from our friends at Leisure Travel Vans. The RV manufacturer took advantage of the event to launch its all-new Wonder FX rig, which comes with a plush Murphy bed that folds down over integrated theater seating. You’ll also find an L-shaped couch in the rear and a dry bath, all of which elevate this Class B+ rig to another level. Check it out here.

- Cornerstone Luxury Coach Makes Official Debut: We’ve known it was coming for some time, but Cornerstone Luxury Coach—a sub-brand of Tiffin—had its coming out party in Hershey. The newly launched nameplate had two versions of its Series 6 645D floor plan on display in different colors. As you would expect, it was an impressive display of luxury RVing at the top end of the spectrum. With an MSRP in excess of $1 million, these Class A models aren’t for everyone, but they are incredibly fun to check out. Learn more here.

- Forest River Launches Two Class B Camper Vans: The already-vast Forest River catalog of RVs expanded once again in Hershey, with one of the surprise reveals being two new camper vans that fall under the company’s top level branding. In the past, FR offered Class B coaches under its Coachmen and OGV Luxury lines, but now it officially offers the Lucent and Sommar under the Forest River banner. The Lucent rides on the Ford Transit platform, while the Sommar is built on a Ram ProMaster chassis. Both are available in two floor plans and have affordable pricing.

- Coachmen Launches Remote 8 Wide Series of Travel Trailers: Speaking of Coachmen, the company has launched its all-new Remote 8′ Wide series of towables, which, as the name implies, offers a wider, more spacious interior for owners. Originally announced as a sub-brand of the Coachmen Apex, the Remote now stands on its own, with the 8-wide series available in three floor plans, a more rugged exterior, and a host of other new features. - The Origin 26RH is Coachmen’s New Small Class A Motorhome: One of the surprises of the Hershey RV show was an unannounced—and largely unreported—new Class A coach that turned heads with its good looks and interesting features. The new Origin 26RH measures 38′ in length, making it smaller and more maneuverable than most other motorhomes. The list of features includes theater seating, twin beds that convert to a king, a full bathroom, washer/dryer prep, and a rear fold-out deck. Pricing starts around $235k, with production set to begin soon.

- Aliner Revives Alite Travel Trailer: It has been over a decade since the Aliner Alite has been a part of the company’s catalog, but this week it announced the return of this much-missed model. The 2027 edition of the Alite is just 11′ in length, weighs 672 lbs, and includes two benches that fold together to create a bed. A front storage box offers a place to store gear, while built-in 30A service provides power. Find out more here.

- DRV Mobile Suites Are Back, Too!: We mentioned this in last week’s roundup, but now we’ve seen the new DRV Mobile Suites firsthand. The luxury fifth-wheel models are back and now under the guardianship of Jayco. In Hershey, the brand had two models on display: the 39RKTS and the 40FBRL. Both looked sharp, had nice layouts, and plenty of upscale features. That said, they felt a little more approachable compared to previous editions of the nameplate, blending price, amenities, and quality that will appeal to a wide audience. Check them out here.

- Tekmodo Offers Single-Piece Composite RV Sidewalls for Manufacturers: We don’t lean toward the business side of the RV space too often here on RV.com, but on occasion there are some stories worth mentioning. This week, that comes via Tekmodo, a company that specializes in composite panels used in the construction of new RVs. The brand has made headlines in the recreational vehicle manufacturing space by offering one-piece composite roof and floor options that are lightweight, durable, less prone to failure, and easier to maintain. Now, Tekmodo has expanded those offerings to include single-piece sidewall options, giving manufacturers a floor-to-roof offering. RV Pro has more details here.

- Outdoor Travel Remains Popular in 2026: Hospitality demographics and management platform RMS has released its 2026 State of Outdoor Accommodation Report, which shows that interest in outdoor travel continues to be very strong throughout 2026. The data was collected via a survey with 1500 campers in the US, UK, Australia, and New Zealand, with 66% of respondents saying they intend to go camping more in the coming year. But in a first for the report, online discovery and booking has overtaken “word of mouth” as the number one way that the audience is finding and reserving campsites, marking a shift from years past. - Elon Musk is Living in an Airstream Trailer: The World’s richest man is full-timing it in a travel trailer. Well, kind of anyway. It was revealed this week via the All-In Podcast. Musk was on the show recently and indicated that he is living in an Airstream towable while staying in Memphis, where his xAI company is currently building a datacenter to power its AGI ambitions. The Tesla founder, who famously slept at the factory during a pre-production crunch period on the Model Y, calls the RV a “palace,” although it is unclear exactly which rig he is currently sleeping in (We’re guessing a fully loaded Classic).
