Lippert Finalizes Furrion Acquisition
Elkhart-based Lippert Components announces it has finalized its previously announced acquisition of Furrion.
Lippert Components has finalized the acquistion of Elkhart-based Furrion in an agreement with details left undisclosed.
Furrion distributes appliances, electronics, and other OEM products for the recreational vehicle, utility trailer, and boating industries. Lippert is a subsidiary of LCI Industries and specializes in manufacturing and supplying products and services for the RV, marine, automotive, commercial vehicle, and building products industries.
“We are very excited to officially welcome Furrion to the Lippert family. To further facilitate successful integration of the Furrion team, we have made a number of a key leadership appointments to position us for growth,” said Jason Lippert, President and CEO of Lippert.
Darren Ho will remain CEO of Furrion Asia. Andrew Mock will serve as Senior Vice President of Furrion North America. And Steven Bell will remain Chief Technology Officer of Furrion North America and Asia to drive innovation and technology throughout the Furrion brand, according to a press release.
Lippert continued, “In addition to a great procurement and quality team, Darren has a strong team of industrial designers and engineers in Hong Kong who will support Furrion’s innovative product development, to stay on the cutting edge of aesthetics and functionality.”
