In order to protect the RV’s screen door from damage due to overzealous hands, many RVers use door handles. Our favorite is the Camco Screen Door Cross Bar ($15.89) available at Camping World. To make a good idea an even better one, attach a second Cross Bar — this one much lower — to protect the screen material from children’s hands as well. The second crossbar is also especially helpful for when little ones enter the RV when the bottom of the door is solid (no handle) rather than screened.
