Dashboard Dish Keeps your RV GPS in Place

Originally Published in MotorHome Magazine

We recently purchased a Rand-McNally Good Sam RV GPS.
Its sole mount is a large suction cup, inconveniently intended for windows or windshields only. To make the GPS readily movable yet stable, we mounted it on an inverted salad plate and set it on the dash in our motorhome. The glossy, porcelain surface works well with the suction cup. The wide base of the inverted plate stabilizes the unit anywhere on the dash, but makes it easily movable. When stored, the GPS can be upended and the plate becomes dash decoration.
