When we first saw Airstream’s newest travel trailer at the Florida RV SuperShow back in January, we immediately knew that it had another potential hit on its hands. Lightweight and cozy, the latest addition to the company’s lineup offers everything you’ve come to expect from the brand at a more approachable price point. Fast forward a few months, and we’re even more convinced that the Airstream World Traveler 22RB is going to be extremely popular, especially after watching the video above.

From the outside, the World Traveler looks right at home in the Airstream family photo. Its silver aluminum frame feels both fresh and familiar, with a clean, classic design that would make Wally Byam proud. The company’s engineers and designers went to great lengths to maintain that aesthetic, even taking the unusual step of placing the air conditioner under the trailer to further honor the brand’s iconic and well-recognized silhouette. Large multifunctional windows allow plenty of natural light and, when opened, fresh air into the interior. Screens help keep bugs at bay, and blackout shades provide privacy when needed.
Inside, the World Traveler feels like a perfect camper for couples or small families. A pair of V-shaped twin beds occupy the primary sleep space at the rear of the trailer, while the versatile dinette converts to a second bed as needed. The trailer also features a surprisingly well-equipped galley kitchen, complete with a two-burner stove, a stainless steel sink, a 12V mini-fridge, and plenty of counter space. A microwave is an optional add-on. Airstream even managed to squeeze in a dry bath with a sink, shower, toilet, and integrated toilet.

The Airstream World Traveler 22TB is a single-axle travel trailer that measures 22′ end-to-end. The rig weighs just 3,700 lbs., which makes it easy to tow by a wide range of vehicles. A 300W solar system, paired with up to 2.5kWh of lithium batteries, is optional. And with a starting price of just $68,300, this towable should offer broad appeal for anyone looking to buy an Airstream.
