Lippert Wants to Send You Back to School
The Component Manufacturer Announces New Technical Program for RV Owners
Parts and accessories manufacturer Lippert Components has launched a new program called “RV Owner School.” Designed to provide resources for maintenance and troubleshooting of common issues that occur in RVs, the one- and three-day courses are meant to build confidence and self-sufficiency in owners.
The RV Owner School came about due to high demand from within the Lippert Scouts Community—a dedicated group of RVers who share their knowledge and experiences with Lippert products online. Members of that group have routinely expressed interest in attending technical classes that would help them become more knowledgeable about their vehicles, as well as the vast number of products offered by Lippert.
Lippert says that the educational program will offer hands-on training with the company’s most popular components, including slide-outs and suspension systems. The courses will also provide DIY, maintenance, and troubleshooting tips and information on how the Lippert Scouts are helping shape the future of RVing. The three-day sessions will go further in-depth in each of those areas, with additional topics and focus points.
“RV Owner School is an idea that our Lippert Scouts felt passionate about early in our journey – we’ve called it ‘Scout School’ for over a year as the concept developed,” Lippert’s Vice President of Customer Experience Nicole Sult said in a press release. “Guided by years of experience reaching industry technicians through our Technical Institute, our Scouts let us know that they wanted a hands-on experience, too. We encourage those who are attending local OEM rallies or visiting Northern Indiana to sign up.”
As indicated, the RV Owner School courses will take place at or near local RV rallies across the country or at Lippert’s headquarters in Elkhart, Indiana. The first class is scheduled for May 23, 2022, with more to follow throughout the summer. For a complete schedule of the courses, visit the Lippert website.
