Dometic, NRVTA Partner for RV Service Program
National RV Training Academy and Dometic Launch Pilot Service Program in Orlando
Dometic Corp. is partnering with the National RV Training Academy (NRVTA) to train and equip technicians to offer mobile service solutions for customers who experience a Dometic product breakdown. The pilot program will be launched in Orlando, Florida.
Technicians will receive NRVTA training before joining mobile tech teams.
“Our goal is to get help to our customers as quickly as we can if they ever experience a problem with one of our products,” said Jay Vaarre, Dometic Service director. “We are branding the tech teams as ‘Your mobile RV and outdoor care specialists.’”
The teams will operate as independent contractors.
Certified tech teams will operate from vans to service RV owners at campgrounds, or wherever a Dometic product needs service. Dometic manufacturers OEM and aftermarket products that include portable coolers and freezers, air conditioners, refrigerators, vents, and awnings, among others. Technicians will require diagnostic skills and an understanding of RV systems, Vaarre said.
“We are pleased Dometic chose to have their company technicians trained at our school,” said Terry Cooper, NRVTA president. “These elite technicians will be on Dometic’s frontline to help cut down service times and improve customer experience to ensure enjoy even better satisfaction when using the company’s products.”
