Winnebago has announced that it will reveal its first all-electric recreational vehicle at this week’s Florida RV SuperShow in Tampa,. The company says that the new motorhome is the product of its Advanced Technology Group (ATG) and that more details will be coming directly from the show floor via a Facebook Live event scheduled for Tuesday, January 18 at 2:00 PM EST.

The new vehicle will be the first product from Winnebago’s ATG to be revealed to the public. Created in 2019 to explore the use of new technologies, the task force has mostly worked in secret until now. Members of the group will reportedly be on hand at the RV show to share more details.

As of this writing, there aren’t any further details to share about this new RV. The webpage announcing the live unveiling indicates it is an all-electric model, but key details—such as the design, range, and power—remain a mystery.

Anyone interested in receiving updates on Winnebago’s electric RV can sign up to receive email notifications on the company’s website. For those who want to turn in to watch the presentation as it happens, it will be broadcast live on the Winnebago Facebook page.

Stay tuned for more on this developing story.
