Brinkley RV Reveals First Travel Trailer
The Luxury RV Manufacturer Introduces “Model Z Air” Ahead of Florida Supershow
Brinkley RV is a relative newcomer to the RV space, but the company has received a surprising amount of attention during its first few years of existence. That’s because it was founded by a group of industry veterans who have brought decades of experience to the brand. So far, Brinkley has focused on manufacturing upscale fifth-wheel trailers. However, it is now ready to add a travel trailer to the mix, bringing its trademark high-quality design and construction to a broader audience.
The all-new Model Z Air joins the standard Model Z and Model G toy hauler in the Brinkley lineup. Unlike its siblings, the Air doesn’t require a fifth-wheel for towing, although with a dry weight north of 9,000 pounds and an 870-pound hitch weight, owners will still need a beefy tow vehicle. Those specs are more accessible than its larger models, however, making the latest towable more approachable for more RVers.
The unit stretches 34’, 9” in length and has a clean, attractive exterior that is both elegant and efficient. The Air features two pass-through cargo bays that provide more than 100 cubic feet of storage. A rugged suspension offers a smooth ride even on rough pavement, while a one-touch auto-leveling system makes getting settled at the campsite a breeze. Twin air conditioning units ensure comfort during the summer, while a tankless on-demand water heart and a heated and enclosed underbelly make extended-season camping a reality.
Inside, the Model Z Air offers a level of comfort and luxury similar to Brinkley’s previous offerings. The complete feature set has yet to be revealed, but the company says we should expect a modern and refined interior with residential-style appliances and furnishings. The travel trailer will also have expansive Euro frame square windows that allow plenty of natural light to reach the interior, with the option to upgrade to double-pane glass for improved heating and cooling efficiency.
Other features include a primary bedroom with a walk-around queen-size bed, a large bathroom with a 30” x 42” shower, and an open living/kitchen space for gathering with friends and family. A 50” smart TV sits opposite an oversized couch with theater seating, while an electric fireplace provides warmth and ambiance to the interior. The trailer comes with a 370W solar panel—with an option to add another if needed—and a large lithium battery bank to provide power.
Having seen the Model Z and Model G firsthand, we expect the Model Z Air to be an impressive addition to the Brinkley catalog. The first two models offer thoughtful design, an excellent use of space, and high-quality components and materials throughout. The company’s first travel trailer will no doubt bring similar qualities while carefully crafting its own identity at the same time.
Expect a full set of specs, features, and amenities to be revealed at the Florida RV Supershow and on the Brinkley RV website on January 17. The Model Z Air ships to dealers in March with a starting price of around $75,000.
