RVIA Highlights Responsible Industry and Community Activity
Sustainability, inclusion, and community are three main tenets of the web page.
The RV Industry Association (RVIA) launched a new page on RVIA.org highlighting sustainability, diversity, safety, and community activities of its member companies, RV Business reports. The new section, “Our Impact”, outlines the RV industry’s commitment to being responsible members of the outdoor community.
“Cultivating and sustaining a strong and resilient RV industry requires continued investment in programs and policies that reflect our growing and diverse consumer base,” said Craig Kirby, President & CEO, RV Industry Association. “Launching this new section on RV Industry Association’s website provides a forum for our members and the industry to connect and make a positive change for our environment and communities across the country.”
The RV Industry’s Association’s member efforts are divided into three focus areas:
Sustainability: The RV industry has partnered with local, state, and federal agencies on projects and policies that support America’s public lands and promote responsible visitor practices.
Inclusion: Go RVing and the RV industry strongly emphasize that adventure and RVing are for everyone. For many years, the industry has worked towards encouraging diverse participation to promote access for all.
Community: The RV industry invests in our workforce and communities to support those who have helped make RVing such an iconic part of our country’s history.
Kirby added, “While we recognize there is always more work to do, we feel that by highlighting positive industry initiatives, we will encourage further awareness, investment and improvement in these key areas.”
