Proving that “quality is standard equipment” isn’t just a marketing slogan, Lance Camper recently announced key investments in both equipment and people. Those efforts support the company’s goals of building the best travel trailers and truck campers on the market.

Lance recently installed its eighth C.R. Onsrud Pro Series machine at its corporate headquarters in Lancaster, CA. This device is a computer numerical controlled (CNC) apparatus that creates precise and consistent components for use on the company’s assembly line. This results in a high-quality manufacturing process across all of the company’s products.

An early adopter of CNC technology, Lance was one of the first companies to use these devices in the RV industry. It began using the manufacturing equipment in the early 2000s and continues to invest and upgrade those units today.

Additionally, Lance continues to support its staff by introducing the REV Group’s Lean Six Sigma manufacturing certification program. This approach focuses on creating a collaborative team environment that improves performance by eliminating waste and reducing variation. The program results in enhanced benefits and processes that produce higher-quality manufacturing and greater levels of customer satisfaction.

Finally, Lance Camper has also bolstered its talent pool by recruiting new members to its team. The company is now poised to pursue its goals of offering high-quality RVs that exceed expectations.

“These key initiatives ensure Lance continues to “walk the talk” and delivers on their latest marketing campaigns theme of “Quality is Standard Equipment,” Lance Marketing Director Bob Rogers said in a press release.
