The Durango D311BHD fifth wheel trailer from KZ RV has taken home the Top Debut Award of 2022 from RV Business. The innovative towable holds the distinction of being the first fifth wheel in the industry to come equipped with a hatchback door, granting unprecedented access to the camper’s interior space.
A mainstay in the KZ line-up for years, the Durango is offered in seven different floor plans, although the new D311BHD model is the only one that includes the hatchback. Raising the door at the rear of the trailer reveals a more versatile and utilitarian rear space, with room for storage, bunkbeds, or other equipment. The hatch also makes this model a great option for tailgating or entertaining at the campsite.
