Governor Tom Wolf of Pennsylvania last week proclaimed the month of May as RV and Camping Month, the 30th year the state governor recognized the activities’ importance. He added that May is a time to discover the  “natural beauty, history and culture” of the state’s outdoors.

The Pennsylvania RV and Camping Association (PRVCA) stated that May is the “perfect time” to encourage outdoor activities and exploration in the state as temperatures are steadily increasing. To help encourage RVing and camping, PRVCA has provided a list of campgrounds and RV dealerships, available here.

PRVCA has noted that Pennsylvania is home to 121 state parks and 2.2 million forest acres, in addition to historical sites, natural formations and “endless possibilities for adventure.” PRVCA has also released a 2021 camping guide titled “Explore Pennsylvania,” which includes 52 pages covering the state’s “glamping” opportunities, caves and caverns, how to maintain an RV,  and road trip ideas.

“Explore Pennsylvania” is on display at PRVCA member RV dealerships, campgrounds, visitor centers, RV shows and more. Order a free print copy or  view and download the digital version online.
