Moab Adventure Center Prepares for Record Recreation Demand
The outdoor exhibition company is adding new adventure experiences and contactless signing and payment.

Outdoor expedition company Moab Adventure Center recently announced that they anticipate a record number of visitors for the upcoming season. The Center believes this to be a result of what they are calling “pent-up vacation demand” from the Covid-19 pandemic.
“When our team plans for and then escorts a group, we free up group leaders to focus on the needs of individuals in their group. We expect to see over-exuberance on full display after months of pandemic-related constraints,” predicts Lecy Gillespie, Reservations Manager for Moab Adventure Center. The Center has prepared for the increased demand with new adventure experiences such as their rafting in Moab experience.
“The river is the best place to be during the hot summer months and truly becomes an oasis after time spent hiking and exploring,” adds Gillespie. “Offering multiple full and half-day trip options, the company has added guides, equipment and launches to accommodate the expected increase in demand in 2021.”
“And one of our best-loved adventures is a Hummer Safari on the technical Hell’s Revenge trail. You can choose where to sit in the Hummer to determine the thrill level of the trip. If you are a bit uneasy around heights or feel nervous at all, the passenger seat or middle row is for you! If you’re looking for a thrilling slow-moving rollercoaster ride, the back row is the place you’ll want to be!”
Given the increased travel demand for the season, Gillespie encourages group leaders to firm up the planning process for a trip to Moab as soon as possible. The group tour page on their website guides group leaders through the step-by-step process of what they need to do and outlines what services Moab Adventure Center offers.
Once a group makes a reservation with Moab Adventure Center, a 25 percent deposit confirms the booking, with the balance due 30 days prior to the trip departure date. A simple online waiver system, WaiverSign, offers fast, contactless signing. Pricing has also been revamped to make it more affordable for non-profit, corporate and family groups.
