Mary and Zack start episode one of Country Outdoors Adventures by picking up their new toy hauler RV from the Camping World in Nashville and then taking it all the way to Kansas to meet up with a whole new group of people, including country artist Chad Bishop, Kaleb Schankie of KNS Outfitters, country artist Jordan Rowe.
Mary and Zack are in Kansas to hunt deer, and Kaleb has plenty of great land for them to hunt. Zack and Kaleb take a look at the images from the trail cameras out there on the land, and they determine that there are plenty of deer on that plot of land.
The group of friends then spend a little time enjoying the outdoors with some live music, a pig roast, and some cornhole.
After spending some time in Kansas scouting, Mary and Zack head back to Nashville to put on a show at The Listening Room Cafe for the Country Outdoors Writer’s Round. It’s a show that gives listeners a unique opportunity to hear untold stories from their favorite artists as well as some new music.
Mary was able to get Drake White, Meghan Patrick, Dylan Carmichael, and Farron Rachels for the unique show. She gives us a look in front of the scenes and behind the scenes. It’s a sold-out show, and it’s clear that it’s a successful event.
All of the artists expressed their thanks that they could get together for a night of live music and good conversation. In 2020, those kinds of nights were too few and far between.
