Taking inspiration from his travels in his Airstream Flying Cloud, Emmy-nominated actor, director, and producer Milo Ventimiglia has partnered with Lowe’s and curated two home decor collections.

As part of the Lowe’s House of Curators partnerships, Ventimiglia’s design lines–California Modern and Room to Roam–include over 80 pieces of decor like furniture, lighting, and bedding inspired by his Airstream adventures and California lifestyle. Many of the items in the line now decorate Ventimiglia’s 27-foot Flying Cloud Airstream. Previously, he owned a smaller, 22-foot Bambi model.

Items in the collections that Veintimiglia selected from Lowe’s catalog were inspired by his Airstream travel as well as from his upbringing in Anaheim, California. Items include both home decor like furniture pieces as well as items Ventimiglia brings along on the road.

Some more popular items include:

  • Origin 21 2×3 Blue Indoor Geometric Throw Rug
  • Allen+Roth Staghead 20-in x 20-in Natural linen Linen Square Indoor Decorative Pillow
  • Madeleine Home Butterfly Chair
  • Allen+Roth Distressed Brown Metal 5-Shelf Bookcase

“When I was going through the curation of Lowe’s, I [thought], ‘Wow they’re actually things I’d find out on the road.’ Anything from a simple painting or photograph, or a rug you might pick up in New Mexico, woven baskets. But I don’t think I’ve ever picked up a piece of furniture or chair while I’m traveling,” he said in a report by NewsBreak.

For practical reasons and to plan for storage on the road, Ventimiglia lays out everything that will go into the Airstream on his garage floor before a trip, taking stock of what he needs and what can be cleaned along the way. He also utilizes storage bins within the Airstream.

“In my Airstream, I have to consider weight. I have to consider function. I was hoping to add a little more comfort, adding some pillows, adding some blankets, adding some artwork on the walls, adding mats and rugs, and also dish towels. Those are all very, very functional pieces,” he told Architectural Digest.

Ventimiglia is currently filming the sixth and last season of This Is Us. Ahead of his final days on the NBC series’ set, Ventimiglia spent the summer road-tripping through national parks in California, Nevada, and Utah, including Yosemite, Moab, and Zion
