We’ve sung the praises of TireMinder’s Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) in the past, calling it an essential product for RVers. The high-tech device wirelessly provides real-time data for up to 20 tires, improving safety and performance by alerting drivers to sudden drops in tire pressure while on the road. But as helpful and convenient as the TPMS is, TireMinder has found a way to make it even better simply by adding support for Apple CarPlay.
For those unfamiliar with CarPlay, it is a feature that allows iPhone owners to safely interact with their mobile devices while driving. When an iPhone connects to a vehicle infotainment system that supports the service, drivers can use many of their favorite apps, including Apple or Google Maps, music and podcast apps, and more.

Now, you can add TireMinder’s official app to that list. Recently, the company updated its software to include support for CarPlay for the first time. That means TireMinder users who own an iPhone can now monitor their tires directly through their vehicle’s infotainment system, eliminating the need to install a separate monitor. This adds a new level of convenience, even for existing customers who have owned the TPMS for years.
Check out the video above to see how the TireMinder works using Apple CarPlay. The app takes full advantage of your vehicle’s touchscreen, making it easier and safer than ever to monitor the tires on your motorhome, travel trailer, and tow vehicle.
