Vehicle accessory manufacturer Lippert Components has introduced a new grille guard designed specifically with camper vans and commercial vehicles in mind. Released under subsidiary brand Luverne, the SolidShield Van Grille Guard promises to deliver additional front-end protection with a rugged and innovative design.

One of the key features of the new grille guard is its four-point mounting system which offers a step up in terms of stability over the industry-standard two-point systems. By adding two additional mounting points, Luverne has dramatically improved the strength and rigidity of the product. That translates into better impact resistance and all-around protection for the front end of a vehicle.

Other features of the SolidShield Van Grille Guard include an easy installation process that doesn’t require a drill and the option for adding brackets for mounting aftermarket lights. The carbon steel grille is treated with a semi-gloss black powder coating that resists corrosion and has a vehicle-specific design that precisely matches the contours of the van.

“Luverne has taken work van front-end protection to another level with the new SolidShield Grille Guard. While it contours the front bumper, it also provides a stylish look and rock-solid front-end protection,” Director of Automotive Product Jesse Bauer says in a press release. “This grille guard falls right in line with Luverne’s functional, no-nonsense approach to continue driving our customers’ success forward safely.”

The SolidShield Van Grille Guard is available now for Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Ford Transit, and Ram Promaster vans. For more information, visit the Luverne website.
