Workhorse Custom Chassis has put more muscle into its W Series gas motorhome platform by
introducing a new, limited-edition Super Sport Chassis (SSC) option available for 2006
models. The SSC option brings a whole new “muscle-car” experience to the Vortec-powered
chassis. Its stainless-steel tuned headers improve the GM Big Block engine’s exhaust flow,
lowering back pressure and increasing performance. The new SSC can accelerate from 0 to 60
mph in 25.4 seconds, which would put you ahead of the top-performing standard Workhorse
chassis by a half a football field.
Workhorse has enhanced the suspension with a rear track
bar, along with performance-tuned Bilstein shocks to further boost handling of the W Series
platform. A deluxe instrument panel can track transmission temperature, manifold intake
pressure and engine intake air temperature. Dual chrome exhaust tips, SSC coach decals and
owner jackets denote the model.
This chassis is approved by General Motors and Allison, and
carries a full warranty on all components.
