Winegard’s new Carryout Tripod Mount (TR-1518) is ideal for those times when permanent
mounting of the unit is not desirable. It’s great for short stops and wooded areas, and
features adjustable settings on each leg, allowing the unit to be set up virtually
anywhere. Elevating the antenna provides protection from mud and water and also helps to
prevent tripping over the antenna.
The tripod features anti-theft protection with a
locking bolt so the Carryout can be secured to the tripod. The tripod
can then be secured to with a lock and chain from the anchor loop under
the base plate.
Made of aluminum and powder-coated gray, the tripod mount is
designed to be weather resistant and sturdy. The package includes a
tripod base plate, three legs with rubber feet, three hinge pins, an
anchor screw, 6-inch bungee cord and locking bolt. Assembly is simple
and easy, and the unit disassembles flat for compact storage, requiring
minimal space in a motorhome.
