More than 13,000 campers and RV enthusiasts recently participated in a consumer
satisfaction survey of independent parks, which evaluated their experiences as guests at
independent campgrounds and RV resorts affiliated with the National Association of RV Parks
and Campgrounds. The results of this survey have led to the ranking of 21 top-rated parks
in the nation. The following lists the 21 parks earning “A” grades for 2008:

- Buttonwood Campground – Mifflintown, Penn.
- Cherry Hill Park – College Park, Md.
- Dogwood Acres Campground – Newville, Penn.
- High Plains Camping – Oakley, Kan.
- Kozy Rest Kampground – Harrisville, Penn.
- Lake George RV Park – Lake George, N.Y.
- Mill Creek Ranch RV & Cottage Resort – Canton, Texas
- Misty River Cabins & RV Resort – Walland, Tenn.
- Normandy Farms Family Camping Resort – Foxboro, Mass.
- Ocean Lakes Family Campground – Myrtle Beach, S.C.
- Peace Valley Campground – Marble, N.C.
- Pioneer Campground – Muncy Valley, Penn.
- Pismo Coast Village RV Resort – Pismo Beach, Calif.
- Rutledge Lake RV Park – Fletcher, N.C.
- Scenic View Family Campground – Logan, Ohio
- South Haven Family Campground – South Haven, Mich.
- Stoney Creek RV Resort – Osseo, Wis.
- Sunny Brook RV Resort – South Haven, Mich.
- Tanglewood Camping – Covington, Penn.
- The Vineyards Campground & Cabins – Grapevine, Texas
