The RVComfortBeam

Originally Published in MotorHome Magazine

Have you noticed how comfortable “roughing it” has become? It’s now
possible, in fact, to be a couch potato – in your coach. The new
RVComfortBeam remote-control unit, in fact, takes the trend toward
“residential living” one step further than most of us enjoy even in our
homes: Designed to work in conjunction with Coleman-Mach RV air
conditioners, any furnace or heat pumps, the RVComfortBeam allows RV
enthusiasts to control the climate from anywhere inside their motorhome.

In addition to controlling the temperature setting, the
remote-control unit also maintains the fan speed, timer and gas-heat
adjustment – plus it includes a dry-operation mode to control humidity.
Claimed by the manufacturer to be the most advanced remote available for
controlling RV environmental settings, the RVComfortBeam features an
optional change-over feature (available with the furnace) that allows
the unit to switch from cooling mode to heating at the flick of a
switch; a wall mount to keep track of the unit when not in use is also
available.
