Traveling with your bike via plane, train, recreational vehicle,
automobile or boat is even easier than before with the Lapierre Passport
Portable Bicycle. The Passport is a full-sized suspension mountain bike
that fits into its own durable, rollable travel bag –specially designed
for the Passport by LaFuma – making it easy to take with you wherever
your travels may lead.
The intuitive step-by-step assembly instructions are easy to follow and
allow the user to assemble the bike within five minutes, using only a
6mm hex wrench (included) to put the pedals on. Because of the unique
way the Passport folds, no cable quick connects are needed.
When not in use, the Passport’s bike bag cleverly folds into a
backpack so you can easily store it or carry it with you. The backpack
design also contains a built in hydration system holder.
The SL frame is made of 7005 Aluminum, and comes with an 80mm
compatible Fox FRL fork. Componentry includes a Shimano groupo, Ritchey
headset, Avid brakes, Mavic wheels and Michelin tires. When fully folded
and stowed away, the Passport is easy to maneuver through crowded
airports and complies with airline travel regulations, making for an
easy check-in when traveling by plane. With an overall weight of 35 lbs
(24.5lb bike + bag), the Passport ensures travelers no extra weight fees
at check in.
