Teardrop Trailers Gather in Perris, California

Originally Published in Trailer Life Magazine

For all RVers planning to welcome springtime with a road trip to Southern California, be
sure to come by Lake Perris State Park from March 18 to 21, 2010, for the 14th annual
Southern California Touring Tears (S.C.T.T.) Gathering. At the Gathering, visitors can meet
with teardrop owners and get a good look at these unique trailers. Each S.C.T.T. Gathering
since 2000 has averaged 100 teardrop trailers, so you’ll be sure to have a good time.
Visitors must pay the day use fee to enter the park. Enthusiasm for restoring and using
teardrop trailers continues to grow throughout the years. When plans were being made for
the 1st annual S.C.T.T. Gathering, much debate was given to the activities for the weekend.
It was decided that the activities should promote the most popular thing that takes place
when two or more teardrop owners get together. Top on the activities list will be swapping
tales about locating, restoring, using teardrops, and eating. This has remained the
traditions for the past 10 Gatherings. For more information, call (760) 369-3082 or e-mail
[email protected]. Complete
details and information about Southern California Touring Tears can be found at www.teardroptours.com.
