Originally Published in Trailer Life Magazine

According to the latest Lundberg Survey, the price of a gallon of unleaded gas averaged
$1.67 a gallon across the nation, down about six cents from the last biweekly survey. The
poll of 8,000 gas stations nationwide found that Tulsa, Oklahoma, had the nation’s cheapest
gas at $1.38 a gallon; San Francisco had the most expensive at $2.15 a gallon. The survey
also noted that the price of crude dropped by 18 percent, to about $28 a barrel, since
President Bush had issued the 48-hour ultimatum for Hussein to disarm and leave Iraq.
