Sprinter Gets New Diesel Engine

For 2007, the Dodge Sprinter gets a 3.0L V-6 turbodiesel rated at 154 hp and 280 lb-ft of
torque. A 3.5L V-6 gas engine, rated at 254 hp and 250 lb-ft, also will be available. Both
engines are equipped with a five-speed automatic transmission. Sprinters will come in three
lengths: 233, 273 and 289 inches. Two new wheelbases are offered, plus a 15-inch longer
overhang, the longest in its class. Dodge is also offering three interior roof height
options. New standard amenities include power windows, locks, wide-angle mirrors, halogen
headlights, 16-inch wheels, adjustable steering wheels, CD radio and stability control.
Updated Sprinters go on sale this spring.
