Special Auto Needs Addressed By GM and iCan Web Site

Originally Published in Trailer Life Magazine

General Motors and iCan Inc. have launched a Web site with an automotive decision guide
that is designed specifically to assist the more than 54 million Americans with
disabilities. The site (www.ican.com) provides adaptive-vehicle consumers with a
step-by-step evaluation that helps them choose the vehicle that meets their special needs.
“It is exciting for us to be able to bring decision-making tools that ease the process of
purchasing our cars and trucks directly into the homes of our customers,” said John
Gaydash, director, GM Mobility. “Especially when you consider how much more difficult it
must be to buy a vehicle when you are in a wheelchair or scooter or need special equipment
just to drive to work.”
