According to Tom Hanagan, president and owner of Six-Pac Campers, Inc. of Riverside,
California, “What we’ve done is take the classic California truck-camper — the Six-Pac —
and updated it to meet the diverse needs and demands of the modern camper consumer.”
Referring to the midseason release of the company’s redesigned truck campers, Hanagan, who
bought the company 18 months ago, said he’s excited to see Six-Pac return to the forefront
of the marketplace and attract the new generation of campers. The company debuted three new
model series: Standard, Delux and Utility. The designs of the first two offer more spacious
adult sleeping accommodations, a convertible dinette area and a flip-down bunk, plus a
galley with a refrigerator, a picture window and other options. The Utility model is
offered as a working camper minus the previous amenities, but ideal for transporting
“toys,” and is currently the only product of its kind on the market. The new models are
hand-built in a variety of sizes to fit the full range of truck-bed configurations and
payloads. The Standard base model retails for $5,795, the Delux for $8,795 and the Utility
for $4,295. For more information: (800) 223-3069, six-pac.com
