Silver Remains Top Color Choice

Silver has been ranked as the most popular color for vehicles sold in North America for the
fifth consecutive year. This is according to an annual color survey conducted by PPG
Industries. Silver, with 26 percent, surpassed all other colors for vehicles built in the
2005 model year. It was down one percent from 2004. Silver also remained the most popular
color for all vehicle types, with the highest share in the sport/compact category at 32
percent.
