RV Business Magazine Names “Best in Show” at Louisville

The 25-foot Class A Winnebago Via was named “Best in Show” new model by the staff of RV
Business
magazine at the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association’s National RV Trade
Show in Louisville, Kentucky. The RV Business staff annually selects what they consider to
be the most innovative and competitive new products on display at the industry’s key trade
show. The 2010 Via, which is also marketed as the Itasca Reyo, features European influenced
interiors and a fuel-economy of more than 15 mpg, possibly making it the highest
miles-per-gallon vehicle available in the Class A market. According to the staff of RV
Business, the Via/Reyo is an early example of the transition from larger motorhomes to more
compact units that exhibit the style, functionality and affordability many believe is
imminent in at least part of the U.S. motorhome sector. “It was a slam dunk, because the
Via is clearly the most complete, integrated concept – from drawing board to finished
product – that we’ve seen in quite some time,” said RV Business Publisher Sherman
Goldenberg. “It seems to gracefully meet the evolving definition of a Class A motorhome in
a world in which expectations, and many of the industry’s potential buyers are rapidly
changing.” The Via/Reyo has been in development for the past two years and is expected to
launch this spring or summer.
