QuickBite Trailer Coupler

onto the ball can not only be frustrating at times, it can also be dangerous if not done
correctly. Inventor Mark Lambros has developed a coupler that helps to solve many
bothersome and dangerous problems that can cause decoupling.

The QuickBite Coupler uses an
“Alignment Rod System” that involves magnetic sighting rods built into the design to guide
the vehicle ball into the coupler’s grasp with ease. It’s designed to eliminate the need of
raising the trailer above the ball. Once the vehicle ball enters the QuickBite Coupler, a
set of inner jaws automatically close around the ball, creating a safe and secure
connection. The jaws are then captured by a self-locking spring-loaded outer jaw, which
ensures the ball will not escape, if used properly.

The QuickBite’s smaller model works
with 2-inch and 1 7/8-inch balls because the automatic jaw locking system ensures a
complete capture of the ball. This feature eliminates a common error in towing – using a
2-inch coupler with a 1 7/8-inch ball. Since the QuickBite guides itself to the ball,
latches itself and prevents many common errors, you’re actually hooked up before you ever
get out of the tow vehicle.

The QuickBite Coupler was voted by AOL (America On Line) as one
of the 10 best new products at the show 2007 SEMA show in Las Vegas.
