We recently purchased a 2006 Winnebago Tour and were trying to find the perfect place for our fishing rods. We have one 7-foot rod that does not break down and there are no pass-through bays in our motorhome. Since we have a diesel engine, the generator is located in the front of the coach with just enough room for fishing rods. My husband mounted two fishing rod holders, typically used in a garage, to the crossbars, and the rods fit perfectly, nice and tight.
