Ford’s Lincoln Division has announced prices on the new 2003 Aviator sport-utility vehicle.
The Aviator, based on the Ford Explorer, will show up this fall with a price of $39,995.
Powered by a 302-hp, 4.6-liter V-8 and five-speed automatic transmission, the Aviator
features leather interior, a CD stereo, 17-inch alloy rims, front and side-curtain air
bags, and more. Prices range from $39,995 for the rear-wheel drive with luxury trim, to
$45,865 for the all-wheel drive with premium trim. When properly equipped, the Aviator has
a 7,300-pound towing capacity.
