Having gone through various racks, and still having wine glasses jingle and turn over, I decided to make my own. I used two pieces of 2-by-4-inch lumber glued side by side (the length was determined by the glass size). Then I made a template by placing the wine glasses upside down and tracing each one with a pencil. Next, I drilled the holes slightly larger than the size of the glass. And finally, I finished the wood with a clear satin and added four ½-inch “feet,” which can be purchased or made from a scrap of wood to raise the glass holder. Now I no longer have overturned or broken glasses and it’s noise-free.
