As a newly redesigned sport-utility vehicle, the Grand Cherokee is expected to be shown at
the New York Auto Show in April. The SUV should be on sale as soon as this November as a
2005 model.
The new Grand Cherokee will have a longer wheelbase, independent front
suspension and a 350-hp, 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 option.
A longer seven-passenger version is
expected to be offered later as a 2006 model.
